Title Ideas - pre production planning Mae Webb

We have decided to place our title at the end of our thriller opening because we think it will have the biggest effect. We will have the title appear when Gabi suddenly opens her eyes from the boot creating enigma as the audience will want to know what happens next.

Here are some ideas we had:
- One step back
- False
- Perception
- Accused

I asked 33 aged 15+ girls (our target audience) about which title they thought was most effective for our film

At first the majority of people were saying 'One Step Back' - which we didn't expect as it was the one we were least leaning towards.

We then started to get a few people saying 'Perception', which was our personal favourite when thinking of titles. 

We had one person say 'Accused'. One girl said she liked 'Perception' as it sounds more professional, and another girl said she thinks One Step Back sounds more original. 

Out of the 21 who replied: 15 said One Step Back, 8 said Perception and 1 said Accused. No one said False so we will rule that out.
